P. aeruginosa DMC30b, previously isolated from septic wound swab of a hospitalized patient, was screened for antimicrobial resistance against 15 different antibiotics commonly used in human medicine. P. aeruginosa DMC30b was found to be completely (100%) resistant to all the tested antibiotics except colistin and polymyxin B. Finally, whole genome sequencing of this multidrug resistant isolate was carried out.
