By developing standard drawings for various drill-and-blast tunnel structures applicable to different highway grades and design speed conditions, where the highway grades include expressway, first-class highway and second-class highway, the design speeds cover 120km/h, 100km/h, 80km/h and 60km/h, the cross-sectional dimensions are categorized into standard cross-section and subgrade-width cross-section, and the arrangement forms consist of ordinary separated tunnels, small clear-distance tunnels and continuous arch tunnels. This initiative realizes the standardized design of highway tunnels, helps survey and design institutions improve design efficiency, and provides data support services for participating construction units.
