资源简介:
Acoustical measurements in concert halls are crucial for experimental investigations, however, can be laborious endeavors. Automated measurement systems can reduce the efforts and can provide array data with relations between measurement positions that can be used in the data analysis. The dataset available through this publication shows animated and processed data collected with a measurement apparatus. The device is capable of automatically sampling the sound field in auditoria over a surface of 5.30 m x 8.00 m. The animation of measured room impulse responses shows how sound propagates in an auditorium in two dimensions. The comparison of two repeated measurements shows how the presence of chairs changes the sound field. Based on measured data the animation provides a visualization and new insights on grazing sound propagation over theater seating (seat-dip effect). An energy histogram shows how the energy distribution differs between measurements.
