Dataset for: Baseline Neutrophil-to-Lymphocyte Ratio is Associated With Poorer Response to Low-Intensity Shockwave Therapy for Erectile Dysfunction: A Two-Centre Retrospective Cohort

This dataset contains the de-identified patient-level data supporting the study "Baseline Neutrophil-to-Lymphocyte Ratio is Associated With Poorer Response to Low-Intensity Shockwave Therapy for Erectile Dysfunction: A Two-Centre Retrospective Cohort," published in Andrologia (2025). The data comprise 260 men from a two-centre retrospective cohort: 160 patients with erectile dysfunction (ED) treated with a standardized 12-session low-intensity extracorporeal shockwave therapy (Li-ESWT) protocol, and 100 control men without ED (IIEF-5 ≥ 22) included for baseline comparisons only. One row corresponds to one participant. Variable dictionary (columns):- id: participant identifier (1–260)- code: masked participant code (first two letters of given name, remainder masked)- age: age in years- bmi: body mass index (kg/m²)- hypertension: 0 = no, 1 = yes- diabetes: 0 = no, 1 = yes- hyperlipidemia: 0 = no, 1 = yes- smoking: 0 = no, 1 = yes- group: 0 = non-responder, 1 = responder, 2 = control- nlr: baseline neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratio- plr: baseline platelet-to-lymphocyte ratio- severity: baseline ED severity (0 = control, 1 = mild, 2 = moderate, 3 = severe)- ed_duration_months: duration of ED in months (controls: not applicable) Notes: Response was defined a priori as ΔIIEF-5 ≥ 4 at Month 6. Controls were included only for baseline descriptive comparisons and were excluded from outcome, ROC, and multivariable analyses.
