资源简介:
The practice-led project ‘Releasing the Archive’, undertaken in collaboration with dance-scholar Carol Brown (NZ/AUS), aims to re-articulate marginalised modernist exile-dance practices and histories, with reference to the work of Austrian Jewish choreographer Gertrud Bodenwieser (1890-1959) who pioneered Modern Dance in New Zealand and Australia after 1939. It embraces trends towards somatic-informed dance practices, performance-as-archive, and the revisioning of modernist dance legacies. This item contains video documentation of the Performance 'Lost & Found', which is one component of the Research Output for this project. Also included are Images of the Performance Plan/Process.Event Location:Q-Theatre, Auckland, New ZealandSite - responsive immersive dance performanceMovement direction and research: Carol Brown and Thomas KampeSound Design: Russell ScoonesCostume Design: Kasia PolLighting design: Jo KilgourDramaturg: Fiona GrahamVideographerZuiderwyk, Meek Dancers: Campbell, Kasina; Nesami, Maryam; Kokiri, Chrissy; Rudd, Katie; Tolentino, Carl; Ji, XinVideo, Images & Floor Plan courtesy of Carol Brown, Russell Scoones and Kasia Pol.Used with permission. The work is under copyright and may not be used without permission.
