We analyzed the global transcriptomes of adult Apis mellifera developed from larvae fed either with Apis mellifera royal jelly (mRJM) or Apis cerana royal jelly (mRJC). We obtained about 48,971,186 and 49,358,642 reads from mRJM and mRJC, respectively. And detected gene expression levels in mRJM and mRJC, with 439 down-regulated and 179 up-regulated genes in mRJM.
