Genomics of Acquired Resistance in Non-small Cell Lung Cancer. Homo sapiens

Non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) is the leading cause of cancer death in the world. Though patients with epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) mutations initially display exquisite sensitivity to EGFR-targeted tyrosine kinase inhibitors, acquired resistance (AR) emerges after about one year, and prognosis thereafter is poor. This study contains the whole genome sequence of 25 primary NSCLC tumor, AR tumor, and normal tissue sample triplets.
