Micro-CT Data of Chang'e 5 Lunar Regolith Particles

This dataset consists of raw and segmented data of X-ray micro-computed tomography (micro-CT) data of Chang’e-5 lunar regolith particles. Million-scale (>700,000) particles are extracted from the image data using machine learning-based segmentation. It represents the largest three-dimensional (3D) image dataset of lunar regolith particles to date. The raw 16-bit micro-CT grayscale images (CE-5_raw_16bit.zip), segmented images (CE-5_label_8bit.zip for easy visualization and CE-5_label_32bit.zip for unique identification of all segmented particles), as well as statistical data (Particle_Data.zip) and a code for extracting particles (particle_extraction.m) are included.
