资源简介:
This collection consists of dissolved oxygen and temperature in-situ sensor data collected 0.4 m above the seabed at a shallow (~21 m) site in a semi-enclosed coastal embayment called Cockburn Sound in Western Australia, during nine separate deployments between 2018 and 2021. \n\nThe data from the first three deployments (30/10/2018 - 31/08/2019) are presented and discussed in a companion paper (*) that is freely available from the "Related links" below\n\n*Dalseno TC, Greenwood J, Keesing JK, Feng M (2024) Seasonal deoxygenation in a shallow coastal embayment: The role of stratification and implications for water-quality monitoring. Regional Studies in Marine Science 77, 103738. \nLineage: During each deployment in situ measurements of dissolved oxygen and water temperature were made once every 15 mins using a HOBO U26 oxygen logger placed approximately 0.4 m above the seabed. The instrument was calibrated for an atmospheric pressure of 1 atm and a bottom water salinity of 37 psu. \n\nData files are in MS Excel format with the following naming convention: "Cockburn_Sound_deploy##.xlsx" where a 2 digit deployment number is used as the file suffix. Each file contains columns: # (sample number); Date Time (dd/mm/yyyy hh/mm/ss); DO conc (dissolved oxygen concentration) (mg/L); Temp (water temperature) (Celcius); Do adj Conc (dissolved oxygen concentration adjusted for in situ salinity) (mg/L); DO percent Sat (dissolved oxygen saturation) (%).\n\nNote on data quality:\n1. There are a number of un-explained 'sharp spikes' recorded during deployment 2 that are considered to be unrealistic\n2. Sensor deprecation is suspected during deployments 4 & 5 and the data collected during these deployments should be used with caution
