Working communal population from 1962 to 2010 (1/4). The population active groupings employed and unemployed (excluding military contingent). In 1999 the census of the population differed from entry to employment situations and non-employment situations. This excluded a priori to record mixed situations such as students who they worked for a few hours to finance their studies or pensioners who completed their pension with a few hours of work. The inclusion of these mixed situations in the 2006 census artificially swells the number of assets, especially at extreme ages (before 25 years and after 55 years). To be able to make comparisons with previous censuses, it is therefore preferable to work only on assets between 25 and 54 years old because they are the less impacted by changes in concepts. 17 % of the assets of less than 25 years in employment are in mixed situations, 9 % of 55 year olds and more and only 4 % of 25-54 year olds.
