Care; expenditure and financing from 1972

This table contains data on expenditure on care and on its financing since 1972.The expenses are in actual prices. In 1998, CBS moved from the description of Costs and funding of publicly funded healthcare to a description of the entire field of care, funded by all possible sources. In this table, the figures covering the entire area of care, including well-being, are set back to 1972. Since the figures were estimated differently before 1999 than after 1997, the year 1998 was determined according to two different methods: once with the newly estimated figures based on the old statistics, and once with the figures according to the new format.
