Mapping China’s Green Hydrogen: Provincial LCOH, Resource Endowments, and Policy Pathways

Processed shapefiles for China’s administrative and provincial boundaries, used for spatial modeling and visualization.

High-resolution raster datasets from the Global Solar Atlas (solar irradiance) and Global Wind Atlas (wind speeds) for China, provided in GeoTIFF (.tif) format.

Python scripts developed in Spyder to calculate provincial hydrogen production, Levelized Cost of Hydrogen (LCOH) for Alkaline, PEM, and SOEC technologies, and to conduct sensitivity analyses on key parameters including efficiency, policy support, and electricity pricing.
This dataset supports full reproduction of the study’s spatial modeling framework and results.
