Dataset: Academic Stress, Advisor Relationship Quality, and Burnout Among Graduate Students

This dataset contains survey data collected from graduate students enrolled in a public university. The data were collected to examine the relationships between advisor relationship quality, academic stress, and burnout among graduate students within the framework of the Study Demands–Resources (SD-R) model.
The dataset includes responses from 178 graduate students. The following constructs are included in the dataset:
Advisor Relationship Quality (AR-16 items)
Academic Stress (AS-9 items)
Burnout (B-10 items)
In addition, several demographic and control variables are included:
gender
age
program type (Master’s / PhD)
thesis stage
All variables are measured using Likert-type scales. The dataset was used to test a mediation model examining the role of academic stress in the relationship between advisor relationship quality and burnout.
This dataset supports the findings reported in the associated research article and can be used for replication, secondary analyses, or methodological studies involving structural equation modeling.
