The main objectives of this study are to: a. Identify project area communities’ perceptions of CLTS and ODF status b. Identify drivers and barriers to communities practicing ODF continuously c. Identify what individuals and communities see as the payoff for practicing ODF d. Determine competing behaviors to ODF practices from audience perspectives (e.g., conveni-ence, smell, distance from feces, cleanliness, pride) e. Identify strategies used to overcome identified barriers f. Build one or several audience profiles of communities (archetypes) g. Describe the openings for ODF communities – when, by whom, and by what media community receives persuasive messages about health and collective behavior change resulting in changed social norms
