Supporting datasets for the research of ground fissures in the Main Ethiopian Rift. The data includes precipitation data (month averages) from available meteorological stations, WGS84 coordinates of individual research sites and dimesnions of researched fissures, laboratory determined data of soil samples and the field seismic records (SEG-2 format) used for the anisotropy calculations.
