Buffer Protection Map, Minnesota

These data were developed to identify public waters and public ditches that require permanent vegetation buffers for the purposes of improving water quality. If a watercourse is a public water or part of a public drainage system, a buffer or alternative riparian water quality practice is required. Public water basins and those public water wetlands having a DNR shoreland classification require a buffer or alternative water quality practice.
