资源简介:

This dataset supports the bibliometric review "From Genre to Generative AI: A Bibliometric Review of Business Communication Skills as a Taught Competence (2000-2025)." It contains the curated corpus of 3,720 peer-reviewed journal articles on business communication skills as a taught competence, retrieved from Scopus and Web of Science and published between 2000 and 2025, together with the derived data underlying every figure and table in the article. The corpus was assembled following PRISMA 2020 from 6,755 initial records (Scopus 4,472; Web of Science 2,283) through de-duplication, scope filtering, and a venue-authoritative relevance screen that removed health, clinical, and cross-domain false positives. Each record includes its identifier, authors, title, source, publication year, citation count, source database, DOI, country of affiliation, author keywords, and flags marking the teaching/higher-education and artificial-intelligence subsets identified by search provenance. The files also provide the underlying data for the performance analysis (annual output, Bradford's law of source scattering, Lotka's law of author productivity, citation structure) and the science mapping (author-keyword co-occurrence, the Callon strategic diagram of six themes, four-epoch vocabulary drift, co-citation, and country co-authorship), plus the AI-penetration series, the structural-break (Chow) test inputs, and all figure data at high resolution. Note on redistribution: the raw bibliographic records originate from Scopus and Web of Science, which are subscription-access databases. The processed and derived data shared here are provided for verification and reuse; the complete corpus can be independently reproduced by re-running the executable Scopus and Web of Science search strings reported in Appendix A of the article.
