Cycle traffic survey in Vantaa

City of Vantaa ordered a map survey for residents about cycling in spring 2021. Am of the survey was to hear resident’s views on the present state of cycle traffic and possible proposals for improvement. The survey had three parts regarding background information of a respondent, current state of cycling and improvement of cycling in Vantaa. The survey included multiple-choice questions and open ended questions. Additionally, the survey included three different parts where Respondents were asked to mark place on the map of Vantaa. The survey was open from 16 April to 9 May 2021 and 827 people answered. Map survey was conducted by Ramboll Finland Oy on Maptionnaire. Data consist of two files: Excel (XLSX) and GIS data (Shapefile). Questions of the survey (in Finnish) can be found in the excel table. The shapefile’s coordinate system is WGS84 (EPSG:4326). Due to privacy, respondent’s postal codes have been removed. Additionally, answers to open questions (questions 10, 12, 13, 17) have also been deleted.
