Coronavirus recoveries in the African continent as of November 22, 2021, by country

More than 8.04 million people recovered from coronavirus (COVID-19) in Africa as of November 22, 2021. As the most affected country in the continent, South Africa also registered the highest number of recoveries, roughly 2.82 million, or 35.1 percent of the total. In Morocco, 931,143 patients recovered from the disease. The third country with more recoveries in the continent was Tunisia, with 690,033. It is worth noting that, as of the same date, the cases of coronavirus in Africa amounted to more than 8.66 million, while the fatalities due to the disease reached 222,276. By the period, there were 395,868 active cases in the continent.
