PolIen, starch, and phytolith analysis were conducted on sediment samples from the
Baksihi Site in Cebu, Philippines to assess future possibilities for analysis and interpretation of
the archaeobotanic and/or paleoenvironmental record. These samples represent exposures
250 and 300 m inland from the contemporary mean tidal zone.
