Gut microbiology of a mouse model of 4NQO-induced squamous cell carcinoma in situ of the oesophagus

The oesophagus is an important part of the human digestive system. Studies have shown that the development of oesophageal adenocarcinoma is closely related to the imbalance of the intestinal microbiota. However, studies on the alteration of intestinal flora in patients with oesophageal squamous cell carcinoma and its effect on the invasion and spread of oesophageal cancer are limited. The aim of this study was to investigate the composition of the intestinal flora in a 4NQO-induced in situ oesophageal squamous cell carcinoma model mouse and its relationship with the underlying mechanisms.
