Plastic forests dataset

The "plastic forests dataset" comprises four datasets with microplastic (MP) data available as .csv files:"MP_forest_conc_atmos_soil.csv" including the number of identified microplastics (n), LOD corrected numbers (n_corr) and the calculated MP concentration in atmospheric deposition (n_m²_day) and forest soil horizons (p kg)"MP_forest_depo_estimation.csv" including the deposition estimation of atmospheric MP deposition coupled to European plastic production since 1950 and estimated with five different secenarios"MP_forest_particle_features.csv" including particle features (e.g., polymer, lenght, width) of all identiefied MPs"MP_forest_stocks.csv" including the calculation of MP stocks from forest soil bulk density and MP concentration
