Evaluating the Analytical Performance of Direct-to-Consumer Gut Microbiome Testing Services

NIST set out to use homogenized human fecal material to evaluate the analytical performance of direct to consumer microbiome testing kits. As part of this study - NIST conducted DNA extractions and sequencing in-house as well. The sequencing data conducted at NIST is included in this record. Raw sequencing data from the commercial analyses is not available at this time.
