The goal is to assess the impact of recurrent antibiotic (amoxycillin) exposure on the gut microbial composition of male swiss albino mice. Mice were an alternate weekly dose of amoxycillin (100mg/Kg, BW) for 12 weeks and fecal pellets were collected after termination of the experiment to assess the change in gut microbial composition compared to the control unexposed group. This experiment is a part of the PhD thesis work done by Ms. Nabila Akhtara under the supervision of Dr. Manuj Kumar Bharali, Associate Professor, Dept of Zoology, Gauhati University, Assam-781014, India.
