Microarray expression profile analysis of long non-coding RNAs and mRNAs in A Rat Carotid Artery Balloon Injury Model

Restenosis after angioplasty or stent is a major clinical problem. While long noncoding RNAs (lncRNAs) are implicated in a variety of diseases, their role in restenosis is not well understood. This study aims to investigate how dysregulated lncRNAs and mRNAs contribute to restenosis. The differentially expressed lncRNAs and mRNAs between 3 sham control carotid arteries and 3 balloon-injuried carotid arteries(14days) were examined using Arraystar Rat LncRNA microarray v2.0 system.
