NVivo Codebook for: Operationalizing Circular Economy in Sri Lanka’s Textile Sector

This dataset contains the complete NVivo qualitative codebook developed for the research titled “Operationalizing Circular Economy in the Textile Sector of Developing Countries: A Case Study of Sri Lanka’s Textile Industry.”
The codebook was derived through a hybrid thematic analysis combining deductive themes from circular economy literature and inductive themes emerging from 18 expert interviews across Sri Lanka’s textile value chain, public sector, and academia.

The dataset includes the following fields:
Code/Node name: Thematic labels representing barriers, enablers, strategic implementations, and CE strategies.

Description: A concise explanation of each theme’s meaning and scope.

Files coded / References: Number of interviews or data extracts associated with the theme.

Category: Classification under the main framework variables (Enablers, Barriers, Strategic Implementation, CE Strategies, Contextual Readiness).

This codebook serves as a transparent analytical framework for replicating or extending qualitative studies on circular economy implementation in developing-country textile sectors.
No personal or identifying information from interview participants is included.
