资源简介:
100 romantic couples (N = 200) from Auckland, New Zealand participated in study examining how people provide support for ongoing, important personal goals and the consequences of support for goal achievement and wellbeing. Couples were cisgender heterosexual couples (Average age = 22.6, SD = 6.5). In an initial lab-based session, participants completed baseline questionnaires and then had three video-recorded discussions (experimenter not present) about (a) a "warm-up" discussion on events of the week, (b) one partner's personal goal, (c) the other partner's personal goal (counterbalanced for gender). Participants then completed an online questionnaire (assessing support behaviors, goal progress, and relationship measures) every month for the following six months (available data at the final timepoint, N = 144 individuals; Average number of questionnaire completions = 4.9). Ethical approval obtained from the University Of Auckland Human Participants Ethics Committee (#2012/8711).
