Ratio of biomass to sulfide loading dictates the stability of the biological desulfurization process through biochemical transformation of (poly)sulfides

This study investigated the role of sulfide concentration and biomass concentration on polysulfides and internal sulfane storage in a dual-reactor biological desulfurization process. Here, temporal changes of the microbial communities were followed under various sulfide concentrations.
