Privately owned parks and open space are included as well. Parkland open space types in this dataset include community centers, community gardens, civic grounds, dog parks, libraries, neighborhood parks, open space, school grounds, special districts, trails and trail lands, privately owned public open spaces (POPOS), private recreation facilities, proposed trails, regional parks, reuse centers, sports facilities, and trails.
