ABSTRACT These data tables contain the laboratory-derived values for
photosynthetic parameters (Pmax, alpha, and dark respiration) for 22
taxa of understory macroalgae and juvenile Macrocystis
pyrifera . Photosynthetic parameters can be combined with
in situ data on algal abundance and irradiance to estimate net
primary production for the understory macroalgal community.
