Full genome sequences of A/red-necked stint/Zhejiang/G030/2024 (H4N6)

This dataset contains the complete genome sequence of an H4N6 avian influenza virus isolated from a red-necked stint (Calidris ruficollis) in Zhejiang Province, China. The viral genome consists of eight RNA segments: PB2, PB1, PA, HA, NP, NA, M, and NS. Viral RNA was extracted from the isolate and each genomic segment was amplified by PCR. The nucleotide sequences were determined using Sanger sequencing. The dataset provides the genomic information of this H4N6 avian influenza virus and may facilitate studies on the genetic characteristics, molecular evolution, and epidemiology of avian influenza viruses circulating in wild birds. The sequence data are provided in FASTA format.
