Forestry – PNV_Wald – OGC API Features

The Map Service (WFS Group) presents data from the field of forestry: The mapping of Potentiell Natural vegetation (PNV) is an essential result of forest biotope mapping in the state forest (1990-2008) based on the mapping guide “Full-fledged forest biotope mapping in Saarland – Editor: Minister for the Environment, Energy and Transport of the Saarland – as of 1999. A differentiated spectrum of different forest societies is summarised for practical use. In comparison to the potentially natural vegetation present in real life, the closeness of the vegetation composition of forests can be assessed.
