SAIC Motor: new energy vehicle production 2017-2021, by type

In 2021, the Chinese automaker Shanghai Automotive Industry Corporation (SAIC Motor) produced a total of 732,642 new energy vehicles. Of these, 707,534 new energy passenger cars and 25,108 new energy commercial vehicles were produced in that year, a year-on-year increase of 1.4 times and 90 percent, respectively.
