资源简介:
We collected mucosal brush samples from five sites (terminal ileum, cecum, ascending colon, sigmoid colon, and rectum) in each of the seven individuals with NAFLD and seven healthy subjects. Fecal and salivary samples were collected prior to conducting a colonoscopy. Microbial analysis was performed by 16S rDNA sequencing. The goals of this study are to clarify the characteristics of mucosa-associated microbiota (MAM) from the terminal ileum to the rectum in NAFLD and investigate the involvement of MAM in nonalcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD).
