Dataset for "A Mobile-Based Assessment Framework for Evaluating Humanitarian Attributes in Engineering Programmes: Design, Implementation, and Global Insights"

This dataset contains anonymised programme-level assessment data collected using the ENHANCE Assessment App, a mobile-based digital framework developed to evaluate the integration of humanitarian attributes within engineering programmes. The dataset comprises 3,212 programme-level assessments submitted voluntarily by higher education institutions across 85 countries between June 2021 and May 2023. Assessments span a wide range of engineering disciplines and include both undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. Each record represents a single programme-level assessment derived from a structured 12-item questionnaire capturing information on curriculum design, teaching and learning approaches, assessment practices, and quality assurance mechanisms related to humanitarian attributes. Quantitative scores are derived using a predefined weighting and threshold model based on evidence-informed reference practices. No personally identifiable information was collected. The dataset is intended to support transparency, reproducibility, and secondary analysis of programme-level approaches to humanitarian-oriented engineering education.
