NRS-886 | Correspondence [Clerk of the Peace]

This volume contains original and copies of correspondence between the Clerk of the Peace and the Attorney General's Department and other government instrumentalities, including the Board of Health, Civil Service Board and the Department of Justice. There are also numerous copies of Executive Council Minutes relating to internal administrative affairs of the Clerk of the Peace Office, eg. appointments, salary adjustments. Other correspondence includes memos for the Clerk of the Peace, circulars from the Department of Justice, and various expenditure sheets. Much of the correspondence bears registrations of the Attorney General's Department, although consisting mostly of letters sent from the Clerk of the Peace, minuted and presumably returned under blank cover from the Attorney General's Department.(2/8496). 1 vol.
