In this study, we used three subspecies of the intermediate horseshoe bat (Rhinolophus affinis) with the evidence of mitonuclear discordance to test for the role of natural selection in the process of introgression of mtDNA. We generated 320 exons sequences and 2,237 SNPs from 48 individuals of the three subspecies.
