To study the resistance mechanism of VdNPS against ROS in V. dahliae, we compared the gene expression profiles between the wild type and ΔVdNPS under the treatment of 0, 2, and 6 mM H2O2 for 12 h. And the RNA-seq analysis of the defense response of G. hirsutum L. against V. dahliae was performed similarly. After inoculation for 0, 3, 5, 7 and 9 days, the G. hirsutum L. roots and leaves were collected and prepared for RNA-seq.
