Investigating the disc-jet connection in the gamma-ray NLSy1 1H 0323+342

The discovery of variable gammaray emission from narrowline Seyfert 1s posesintriguing questions about the formation of relativistic jets, the mechanisms ofhighenergy production, and the jetdisc connection. We propose a 70 ksecXMMNewton observation of the gammaray NLSy1 1H 0323+342 that will give us thepossibility to investigate the nature of the soft excess and the presence of theIron emission line, inferring important information about the BH spin and theregion of accretion disc responsible for the Xray emission. Thanks to XMM andFermiLAT we will also be able to build a detailed SED and study the relationbetween the accretion and jet power in 1H 0323+342, providing for the first timea comprehensive picture of the discjet connection in gammaray NLSy1. truncated!, Please see actual data for full text [truncated!, Please see actual data for full text]
