Investments for the Future – Projects

The [Programme d’Investissements d’avenir (PIA)](https://www.gouvernement.fr/le-programme-d-investissements-d-avenir), led by the General Secretariat for Investment (SGPI), was set up by the State to finance innovative and promising investments in the territory, in order to enable France to increase its potential for growth and jobs. From the emergence of an idea to the dissemination on the market of a new product or service, the PIA intervenes throughout the life cycle of innovation and links public research with the world of business. ADEME, the operator in charge of innovation to accelerate the ecological and environmental transition, focuses its support on innovative projects led by companies in the following sectors: renewable energy, energy efficiency and energy carriers, energy storage, smart electricity grids, building, ecoefficient industry and agriculture, green chemistry, circular economy, water, biodiversity, sustainable transport and mobility (road, rail and maritime).
