SO Patrol Districts View

This feature layer view displays only the Sheriff’s Office districts derived from the SO Operational Boundaries dataset for Montgomery County, Texas. Districts are mid‑level operational units nested within patrol commands and containing one or more patrol zones. They are commonly used for organizing patrol resources, analyzing workload, and reporting activity. Current command–district relationships: West Command – Districts 4 and 5. East Command – Districts 1 and 3. South Command – Districts 2 and 6. Each polygon represents the full area of a district and includes attributes such as district number, district name (if used), associated command, and any internal codes used in CAD or reporting. This districts‑only view provides a clean boundary layer suitable for maps and dashboards that need to summarize or visualize data at the district level without showing individual patrol zones. The SO Districts view is maintained by Montgomery County IT‑GIS and automatically reflects changes made to the underlying SO Operational Boundaries layer.
