We propose to follow-up an interesting X-ray source discovered in the field of an unidentified 3FGL Fermi source. Ther 3FGL source has GeV properties consistent with those of young pulsars and PWNe. This X-ray source shows extended emission on small and large scales and is likely to be a new bright PWN with a yet to be discovered pulsar. However comma the existing snap-shot exposures are too short to study the extended emission comma morphology comma spectrum comma and timing properties. In the proposed Chandra observation we aim to resolve the morphology and measure the spectra on different scales comma confirm the PWN nature of this source comma constrain the orientation of the pulsar.s spin axis comma and search for X-ray pulsations using a joint XMM-Newton observation.
