Data and codes from: Land use and climate shape amphibian multidimensional diversity and conservation in a coffee agroforestry landscape, Western Ghats

This repository contains the data and R codes associated with the study “Land use and climate shape amphibian multidimensional diversity and conservation in a coffee agroforestry landscape, Western Ghats.”https://doi.org/10.1016/j.biocon.2026.112057 The dataset contains amphibian community data collected across secondary rainforest and coffee agroforestry systems representing different land-use (arabica and robusta) and climatic conditions (Mean Annual Precipitation: dry and wet) in the Western Ghats, India. The data include amphibian species detections at transect-level, along with functional and phylogenetic trait information and habitat variables. The repository also includes the R scripts used for data processing, taxonomic, functional and phylogenetic diversity, community composition and species response to land use change using the HMSC framework. Usage notes: Please refer to the accompanying README file and the published article for detailed sampling methods, variable definitions, and data descriptions before use. Geographic Coverage: The focal study area was located in the Malenadu region of the central Western Ghats, spanning Hassan and Chikmagalur districts, Karnataka State, India (12.9°–13.4°N, 75.5°–75.9°E).
