资源简介:
This data was obtained for a study on active lower limb prosthesis control. 20 healthy, non-amputee subjects were recorded in a gait lab. They performed 23 different daily life locomotion activities: slow level walking, normal level walking, fast level walking, jogging, walking backwards, side-stepping (to the left and to the right), walking in a circle (clockwise and counterclockwise), turning on the spot (clockwise and counterclockwise), stair ascent (step-over-step and step-by-step), stair descent (step-over-step and step-by-step), ramp ascent, ramp descent, standing, sitting, sit-to-stand, stand-to-sit, squatting and calf raises. Free knee flexion-extension and free ankle flexion-extension from a seated position were recorded as well. An optical motion capture system, 4 force plates, EMG sensors on 8 different lower limb muscles and 2 plantar pressure sensing insoles with embedded IMUs allowed to calculate and report joint angles, joint moments, ground reaction forces and moments, center of pressure and the root mean square feature of the EMG signal for each muscle, as well as all raw data. This data can be used to develop layers of lower limb prosthesis controllers tasked with activity recognition, gait phase and speed estimation, to develop volitional control, to design gait reference trajectories and to study human gait and motor control in general. The medical ethics committee of Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB) approved the study and all participants signed an informed consent form declaring their data can be published in an open-access repository.
