Transcriptome sequencing study of WT iPSCs and R693Q iPSCs

Objective: Genome-wide gene expression profiles of patient-derived R693Q iPSCs and wild-type iPSCs were compared by performing a comprehensive RNA-Seq analysis.The goals of the study was to compare the differential gene expression and possible enriched signaling pathways between the two groups by RNA-seq analysis, including quantitative analysis, differential analysis and enrichment analysis. Overall design: The samples in this study included the experimental group: R693Q iPSCs and the control group: WT iPSCs. Total RNA was extracted from three biologically independent replicates of each cell line (a total of six samples with three biological replicates per group), followed by library preparation and sequencing on Illumina platforms.
