For M1 type gasoline vehicles in service, spark plug discharge ignition is adopted for combustion. The combustion products tend to undergo high-temperature dissociation, especially in some dead zones where ignition fails or misfire occurs under certain operating conditions, resulting in the presence of hydrocarbons (HC) in the exhaust emissions of gasoline engines. Therefore, detecting the hydrocarbon content in vehicle exhaust provides factual evidence for verifying whether the exhaust emissions of gasoline vehicles meet the standards, and offers data support for environmental protection supervision and vehicle management. 1. Data Collection: Detect the hydrocarbon content in the exhaust of M1 type gasoline vehicles in service. 2. Data Detection: The dilution gas is a mixture of exhaust emissions and ambient air. Using the oxygen concentration in the air, the analyzer measures the HC concentration in the exhaust and the HC concentration in the dilution gas, so as to obtain the dilution ratio of the exhaust entering the flowmeter diluted by ambient air. The measured results are corrected for temperature and pressure to obtain the standard volumetric flow rate, and the actual flow rate of the exhaust is calculated based on the dilution ratio. The content of emitted pollutants in the gasoline vehicle exhaust can be determined according to the exhaust component concentration and exhaust flow rate. Combined with the actual engine output power detected by the chassis dynamometer, this data enables real-time analysis of the emission quality of exhaust pollutants from vehicles under loaded operating conditions. 3. Data Processing: HC = Σ(concentration × density × exhaust flow rate) / Σ(equivalent driving distance of the vehicle), where the concentration is measured by the exhaust gas analyzer, the density of pollutants adopts the value under standard conditions, and the exhaust flow rate is corrected to the flow rate under standard state when the host system performs calculation and display. The hydrocarbon emission limit is 1.6 g/km; vehicles exceeding this value are deemed unqualified. 4. Data Application: Through data analysis and evaluation of the test results, it is possible to determine whether the hydrocarbon content in the exhaust of gasoline vehicles exceeds the standard, providing data support for environmental protection supervision and vehicle management.
