DEVELOPMENT AND USE OF LIFE-ORIENTED TASKS IN CHEMISTRY LESSONS TO IMPROVE LEARNING EFFECTIVENESS

This thesis examines the role of life-oriented tasks in improving the effectiveness of chemistry education. Modern educational approaches emphasize connecting theoretical knowledge with real-life situations to enhance students’ motivation, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. Life-oriented tasks allow students to apply chemical concepts to everyday phenomena, environmental issues, industrial processes, and household activities. The study analyzes the pedagogical value of such tasks and their impact on students’ learning outcomes. The findings indicate that integrating life-oriented assignments into chemistry lessons increases students’ engagement, promotes deeper understanding of chemical concepts, and contributes to the development of practical competencies.
