MoHAT: Global monthly high-resolution (1 km) near-surface air temperature projections from 2001 to 2100

The Monthly High-resolution (1 km) near-surface Air Temperature projections (MoHAT) include mean temperature (tas), maximum temperature (tasmax), minimum temperature (tasmin) of 16 diverse General Circulation Models (GCMs) and Multi-Model Ensemble of all 16 GCMs. The temporal ranges include historical period (2001-2014) and three future emission scenarios (2015-2100), i.e., SSP1-2.6, SSP2-4.5, SSP5-8.5. This dataset shows a desirable performance with mean values of the mean absolute error and the root mean square error for these variables ranging from 1.67 to 2.51 K, 2.28 to 3.40 K, respectively. Mean correlation coefficients and biases are over 0.96 and below 2.0 K.

Due to the large size of our dataset, we have uploaded a subset at Zenodo. The complete dataset is available upon request from authors. Efforts are underway to ensure the full dataset publicly accessible in the near future.
