INTERDISCIPLINARY APPROACH AND PERSONNEL INTEGRATION IN THE INVESTIGATION OF CRIMES RELATED TO RELIGIOUS EXTREMISM: THE EXPERIENCE OF UZBEKISTAN

This article examines the role of interdisciplinary approaches and personnel integration in the investigation of crimes related to religious extremism in Uzbekistan. The paper analyzes the shortage of special knowledge and qualified personnel in investigative practice, as well as modern and innovative approaches aimed at preventing errors in the detection, qualification, and investigation of such crimes. Particular attention is paid to the importance of integrating legal, religious, psychological, linguistic, criminological, and digital-forensic knowledge in the investigation process. The article argues that religious extremism-related crimes are complex and multidimensional phenomena that cannot be effectively investigated through legal knowledge alone. In order to ensure objectivity, legality, protection of human rights, and evidentiary reliability, investigators should cooperate with specialists in religious studies, psychology, linguistics, information technologies, and digital security. The study also emphasizes the need to distinguish ordinary religious activity from extremist activity, to prevent stigmatization, and to strengthen preventive and educational work among young people.
