PRAGMATIC AND LINGUISTIC ANALYSIS OF INTERNET DISCOURSE IN MODERN ENGLISH

This thesis is devoted to the study of the pragmatic and linguistic features of internet discourse in modern English. The research analyzes the lexical, syntactic, semantic, and pragmatic characteristics of language units used in online communication. It also examines communicative strategies, abbreviations, emoticons, slang expressions, and multimodal elements in digital interaction. The findings contribute to pragmalinguistics, discourse analysis, and internet communication studies.
